Lilac Designs custom-designed, original upcycled wool suit bags are a fall/winter fashion “must-have”. Our wool suit totes are constructed of recycled men’s wool suit jackets, lined with a men’s dress shirt and feature straps made of coordinating men’s dress pants – the complete up-cycled suit-to-go – in a whole new way!
Two to three jackets are used to create a coordinated pattern for the components of the bag. Each bag has at least one outer pocket, with one smaller pocket included in lining of larger inner compartment of tote. EVERY bag is UNIQUE!! Sometimes back pockets are matching patch pockets to front pockets, and sometimes that are the actual pocket of the suit jacket. No two bags are alike due to the recycled nature of the fabrics, which are subject to availability. Bags come in three basic color families: Black/Grey, Greys, Brown/Blacks, or Tan/Browns. We also have a “Designer’s Wildcard” selection – for the adventurous spirits. Those bags will be made from fabrics that may lean towards greens and gold, or maroons and rose, or whatever interesting, less-common, different combinations come our way.
